Introduction

[Shema_Yisrael]

Hello people. I am Shema_Yisrael which means Hear O Israel. I have come here to testify of the light that came into the world. First of all I do not belong to any form of organized religion. I do not belong to Judaism or Christianity as many may think from what I testify.I believe in YHVH (THE ONLY GOD) and in what he revealed to the children of Israel throughout Scripture. I believe that Yeshua(Jesus) is the Messiah but is in no way YHVH. I believe the Holy Spirit is YHVH's righteous mentality whom he imparts to righteousness seeking individuals. I believe that Scripture must be studied with the desire to find righteousness and with common sense.(So the Holy Spirit guides you).A concordance and lexicon greatly help also in understanding some of the poorly and biased segments in English translations.

With that said , I am glad to be of service to YHVH and to shed some light into the deceived world. Scripture is ALWAYS fulfilled. The falling away has happened(Right when were many martyred and Christianity founded by Rome). Most have been deceived.I used to be deceived and now that I found the Truth I must pass it on to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

As I am to understand, you believe this covenant applies to humankind as a whole. From what I understand this is counter to Judaic tradition, which views the covenant as something between the Israelites and their god (The one you refer to by the tetragrammaton.)

Neither my ancestors nor myself were there when this covenant was created, so how is it that we should be beholden to it's terms?

Indeed the covenant was established with ancient Israel. They broke this covenant and they were divorced. The covenant was re-established with a new people. Every person that seeks righteousness with all their heart is in the promise of this covenant.
You are not held in this covenant unless you want to. You cannot be forced to marry someone you don't like.(Spiritual Marriage). You have free will.It is your choice. Whoever is not in this covenant of love(That is to seek righteousness with all your heart) will not overcome death.Again the covenant is all about seeking righteousness.

What makes said gospel true? Why should a new kingdom be established? It seems to me that we should be working to perfect the world we have, rather than waiting around for something better to come along.

Seeking righteousness is always good in this present world. A new kingdom is coming because the world is unrighteous for the most part. A mixture of good and evil. You can work for it but in the end you will die and someone unrighteous will come along and replace you. Self-pride in itself leads to unrighteousness.

We heathens have a somewhat different opinion on this matter, written by Odin in Havamal:

fair fame of one who has earned.

This fame is only an illusion while you're alive to make yourself feel secure. In the end you are still dead(You are not conscious, you are asleep waiting life or judgement).

I do not think so. I think we would lack prosperity for there would be no reason to seek it out. Meekness begets fear, fear profits a man nothing.

There would be no need for money, weapons, violence, death, self-pride, greed, hate. Just life and love and even perfection in righteousness. Isn't this what people really want?(Instead of wealth and fame which pass away with you).
Fearing to be unrighteous is the beginning of all good.

It does not suit me to wait on another to bring peace and joy. I have these things in my life because I have brazenly sought and claimed them.

Our world is just that. Ours. It is not the property of gods or demons, or any other being. It is the province of men, and it is our jurisdiction to make it better. I can't abide sitting around waiting for some God or another to repair what we humans have screwed up. It falls on us alone to be the masters of our domain. Where there is corruption, we must put it down, where there is evil, we must brazenly kill.

Perhaps corruption festers because most are too meek to take a stand against it?

The Messiah is coming(in the name of YHVH) to bring rest to the righteous.What do you mean by brazenly? By being unrighteous? This universe was created by YHVH and so everything is his. Humans are stewards of Earth. The jurisdiction right now is Satan(Human-Nature, only caring about yourself). The Messiah is coming along with those who have been righteous(whether alive or dead they will be alive and glorified) to purge this world of evil(unrighteousness,those who trust in themselves and don't care about others.) It is not vengeance, but justice for the righteous.Corruption festers because people do not seek righteousness. Even many who call themselves righteous aren't seeking it with their hearts.They just seek glory to feed their pride and selfishness.

I am not perfect by any means, but I try my best with my heart(intent) to be righteous. Indeed, this is not the place for discussion(Just had to clarify some points Thnx for the welcome Coyotero. Hope to see you around.May YHVH shine his light on you.
