Are "Throwbacks" evidence for evolution?

Fossil remains indicate that dolphins and whales were four-footed land animals about 50 million years ago and share a common ancestors with the hippopotamus and deer. Scientists believe they later transitioned to an aquatic lifestyle and lost their hind limbs.

Whales and dolphin fetuses show signs of hind protrusions but they disappear before birth.

A freak mutation may have caused the ancient trait to reassert itself, Osumi said.

So here's an example of an evolutionary throwback: a four-finned Dolphin. It would only seem to make sense to me if we admit evolution. Is there any other suggestion on the table?

Of course, the anti-evolutionary folks will say 'it is still just a mosquito' and 'this is just micro-evolution.'
That's because they have this odd belief that somehow things are incapable of having numerous instances of micro evolution lead to major changes over a long period of time. Either that or they believe Mr. Tax-evader himself Kent Hovind in his claim that evolutionists believe monkeys gave birth to humans and dinosaurs gave birth to birds.
