Question concerning moderation

These comments received a moderator warning:

These comments received donation and praise from a moderator:
Blastcat wrote:What claims about you? Nah.. I'm extrememely careful not to make claims I can't support with good reason and evidence.

And that would include yourself, sir.
BUT I do do have opinions.

That you appear to be suffering from dementia?

I can't prove that. I don't claim it.. It's a possibility.

That you appear to be a poser yanking our chains because you have no life?

I can't prove that either. So I don't claim it.. It's a possibility though.

That you appear to be a psychopathic cult leader wanna be?

No real proof.. I don't claim it.. It's a possibility. Yeah.. It wouldn't surprise me at all.. You would like to have sheep following you.

But I don't make claims about you. I only express my poor opinions of you.
My low opinions of the ideas you wanted to express.
You and your nutty unsubstantiated claims.
My questions are:

1) Why are some uncivil comments warned by moderators while other uncivil comments are praised?

2) How can we trust that our post reports are being handled appropriately? If somebody were to report the post by Blastcat would it be sanctioned even though it was praised by a moderator?

3) If a moderator encourages and praises debaters who engage in uncivil behavior shouldn't that moderator be removed?

Just simply report any posts that you think violate the rules.

It's already been sanctioned when you brought it to my attention.

Moderator Clarification

Those who distrust Admin and Moderators to be fair are welcome to find a different forum.

Attempting to play "Forum Police" in threads is foolish (and is discouraged by Forum Rules and Guidelines). The ONLY proper action is to report posts that one considers to be a rule infraction -- rather than violating rules trying to "police" threads or members.

Moderator clarifications do not count as a strike against any posters. They serve as an acknowledgment that a post report has been received and/or are given at the discretion of a moderator when he or she feels a clarification of the rules is required.
