Sweden is...

Im currently sittng in the middle of Stockholm (Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. NOTE: SWEDEN IS NOT A STATE IN UNITED STATES, ITS A COUNTRY IN NORTHERN EUROPE)

And a Deer just ran past me...... im not joking. im sitting using a wireless connection in a childrens park and a bloody deer just ran past me.. Cheezes, its the same with squirels here, they can just run up next to me eating there nut or whatever and just look at me... wtf is wrong with these animals, should´nt they be scared ?

I had the same a couple of days ago and i was walking in the middle of stockholm and suddenly out of a clearing a deer plus its deer-kid was just walking past me... Looking at me like IM the weird one :)

I was visiting the Skansen, the biggest outside musem in the world a couple of weeks ago, and had a look at the Mose (Elk), and gawd thats a big animal. i would post a picture of it if i knew how to do that (dont know if this forum has a upload picture thingy, Otseng (McCulloc inform if this is possible)....

Anyway.. ITs pretty cold now. But this is one of the few countries where you can be really safe and have a good life. I really pity americans whom live in misery thinking they live in the "best country in the world". I would almost offer John or Harvey to visit Sweden so they could see a superior ccountry upfront.. Not thaqt they would, probably would say NO to visit anothr country....mmm

I live in Minnesota and we have enough swedes(the most outside of sweden) here to qualify as a part of Sweden.

Yeah we have the same kind of thing happen all the time here also, just we didn't kill off all the wolves and hunting is still popular so we can keep the numbers down somewhat at least. It gets a bit scary when you see the occassional wolverine traipsing around though. And of course up north if you let your pets out for the night theres no guarrantee they will come back.

You should see a moose in the wild, or an elk for that matter. Impressive creatures they are.

I think you are making the same mistake most europeans seem to make. That being you tend to underestimate the scale of america or any other of the bigger countries for that matter. A couple years ago a friend from Britain came over to visit, then he said he was going to pop over to Texas to visit some other friends. He was planning on driving until he was told that Texas is fifteen hundred miles away. You see pictures of the worst parts of the coastal cities on the news and you think the whole country is that way, this is simply not true. You have to remember outside of the northeast many states are as large as your average european country.
It's fine to be proud of your country but you shouldn't do it at the expense of others, otherwise you are no better than the people you criticize. Your unfairly broad generalizations is no different than if I would say swedes eat nothing but lefse, lutefisk and potatoes.

Ontario has a population about 1/3 larger than Sweden and a land mass more than double. You would probably enjoy some of our wilderness in the northern regions.
