Abortion and Marriage

Post by jcrawford »

What if abortions were kept legal within the reproductive and privacy rights granted in marriage only, and then only with consent of both spouses? If singles want either a child or an abortion, they would have to get parental consent or married, or would be considered married by the state, in either eventuality.

This way, all reproductive decisions would be made privately, by the parties concerned, and would be no one's else's business at all.

How would that play out in different scenarios, from a Christian or non-Christian POV?

Better to have a political and social imagination than to march lock step to the tune and drumbeat of secular and atheistic socialism.

Look what atheistic and secular socialism did in Europe and to the world in the last century.
It is not the rights of the abortionist that has any bearing on the matter at all. They are simply doing the bidding of their clients.

All right. Nice to have you on our stealth team for a change. Let's just notify married men that their wives are getting or have gotten abortions, but not to worry because it is fully covered under their employer's medical or health plan. When should we tell 'em? Before or after the dastardly deed has been done?

Better after, don't you think? Then they just have to recover from shock because the fetus dumpster will have gone down the block and they won't even have time to think of changing their wife's mind. On the other hand, maybe it's better to tell 'em that their own plans for planned parenthood may be thwarted and usurped by the intentions of some other organization which is planning to ban their parenthood. Difficult decision, no? Why tell 'em at all?
I would be glad for the male chauvinists to be gone. To bad they all aren't.
Who else is going to protect the little guy from the swaggering feminazis?
I didn't think that feminazis existed except in the imagination of Rush Limbaugh.
I'm sure he only imagined them while chomping on a big fat stogie and wondering where all the other male chauvinists disappeared to.

You got the 'orse bass-ackwards here, McCulloch. It's only by giving the bloody secular abortionists bloody legal rights in the first place that they have any legal clientelle at all.

Btw: Female abortionists are ok with me if that's all they are medically skilled at or good for. It's just those masculine male medical men that shouldn't have any more abortion rights than the rest of US muscular masculine male men merit.

Abortions have happened before roe v wade, just now at least the procedure is done with little risk to the woman. What you seem to be advocating now is to kill or maim women that get abortions since they will be illegal and no licensed doctors will be allowed to perform them which means the chance of sepsis is greatly increased.
Btw: Female abortionists are ok with me if that's all they are medically skilled at or good for. It's just those masculine male medical men that shouldn't have any more abortion rights than the rest of US muscular masculine male men merit
So are you now dropping your cross religious objections to abortion? As far as rights go are you complaining that the men that perform abortions are medical doctors? So by your logic if abortions are made illegal all men would have equal abortion rights since NOONE could perform abortions for ANY reasons.

Why? Is it just abortionists or should obstetricians and gynecologists also be restricted to those with two X chromosomes?

No, just male abortionists who kill male fetuses without religious consent.
They are supposed to be doctors, not anti-Christian baby butchers.

If they are real medical doctors, let them perform their medical operations in recognized community hospitals under medical supervision and public authority instead of dirty back-alley abortion chambers which are never investigated for vermin, lice and unsterilized medical equipment.

I'm confused, male doctors aborting male fetuses is bad specifically? So then male doctors aborting female fetuses would be ok? And female doctors aborting male fetuses would also be ok? While female doctors aborting female fetuses would be bad? Also if they would limit themselves to aborting fetuses of every religion but christianity this would also be ok?
Obviously you have little knowledge of medical practices. The conditions you describe for abortion clinics is more in line with the conditions for abortions before roe v wade. Why would you want to further stress the present hospital system by forcing them to perform a procedure thats can be just as easily performed at a doctors office since it is an outpatient procedure?

Please forgive me for not understanding your point-of-view. I think that you are now saying that female abortionists are all right, and that male abortionists are OK if they are removing a female fetus but they require religious consent to abort a male fetus, if the pregnant woman has a Jewish, Muslim or Christian husband, father or lover. Did I get that right? How do you dream up this stuff? Are you making it up as you go along or is there a plan? Are you alone in this quest, or is there anyone else who has publicly taken up your cause?

In my country, abortions are done in properly licensed medical facilities, often hospitals. Why should they be done anywhere else?

ROFLMGDAAO. Of course your not concerned about human rights, you foaming at the mouth types only care about what happens before a child is born. Your actions say you couldn't give a #### less about what happens next.
jcrawford wrote:Since we know there are many more Jewish doctors than African American doctors in NYC alone, we may logically assume that many more Jewish doctors own and operate abortion mills in NYS than African American doctors do, until Eliot completes his investigation.

People like you assumed that Virginity pledges could only do good. Now with a girl signing the pledge being 4 times more likely to have anal sex, and 8 times more likely to have oral sex, there are plenty of teen boys who want to thank you as the eyes roll back in their heads.
jcrawford wrote:Until such evidence is forthcoming, there is no reason to believe that Christian and Muslim women are consenting to have atheists and secular Jewish doctors perform abortions on them.

I didn't see a cross hanging in the last grocery store I was in either. Does that mean all those employees and shoppers were atheists? I didn't happen to have a potato tattooed on my forehead, but trust me I'm of Irish descent.
jcrawford wrote:Obviously, none are Roman Catholic since there would be a crucifix in the hospital or 'clinic,' and a priest would be on hand to perform last rites over the fetus.

jcrawford wrote:Since you can't show me one abortion mill run by Roman Catholic or Protestant doctors, it is safe to assume that they are all owned and operated by secular atheists and Jews.

heh, you know what they say about assuming.... yeah, you get the thanks of a lot of teen boys who have been trying to get her to do that for months.
jcrawford wrote:Doctors should have the courtesy to refer Jewish girls to Jewish abortionists, Protestant ladies to Protestant abortionists and Catholic women to Catholic abortuaries.

jcrawford I have a personal question to ask you, who is your idol? The Shia separatists? or the Sunnis? Damn man, what next? Do you need a christian garbage collector to come take your trash as well?
jcrawford wrote:That's only because the people have no religious representation in your kind of government. No taxation for education without religious representation, I say.

Uhhhh, once religion gets involved it becomes a matter of who's religion. Religion has no place in politics. A "true" christian couldn't be a politician anyway, it would force them to make choices impossible for a xian.
jcrawford wrote:I haven't changed the subject, since having the right to ask someone their religious affiliation implies the right to know it.

Your good at pulling things out of your rectum aren't you? Perhaps if your going to be so anti gay marriage you should consider how pulling things out of your ass makes you look a little gay.
