How do we define "right"?

How do we define what is "wrong"?
"Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear." ~ Thomas Jefferson

How do we "interpret" the rightness and wrongness of events of willful action, and is there an alternative to nihilism? Are events and acts the same? Are interpreatations themselves acts or events? Are ethics possible? What is the source, foundation, or structure of our interpretation? Is it political, socio-biological, self-delusional, or is there meaning to the words right and wrong (ideal, real, pragmatic), and can this meaning be shared in discourse and community? Do human events differ from particle events? ParticlePerson, are we persons, particles, or both?
I can't get to a definition until you clarify.
I agree that point of view and context have everything to do with "right" or "wrong"
However there are some things that are just wrong under any circumstance. For instance: raping an infant. Perhaps there is a alternate universe where this is the norm but my assumption would be we are speaking of this universe.
Though I would agree with you, not everyone would: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moral_nihilism
