Hello to all

Hi all, I'm new to the forums here. I'm currently in my second year studying A-Level IT and Economics at college :-k - but have developed a sort of obsession with learning more about religion (hence me being here).

I was raised as a Christian, but since my early childhood (12yrs+), I have been fairly Atheist, and now at the age of 17 - I'm trying to learn more about religion (Christianity in particular) to understand why people "need" religion in their lives.
And thats about it from me...

Welcome! I'm also fascinated by the need for religion in people's lives.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.--Carl Sagan

Oh. My. Kind of surprised to find someone else having a similar experience in life.
