Hi everyone, I'm Cindy
Post #1I'm Cindy and have just registered here at this site. I love to discuss Christian issues and enjoy learning from others. I am learning how the site works so please be patient with me. Hope I can contribute to this community, and look forward to posting and replying to posts. Anyone have any general advice for me? I did read the rules, and they are good ones! Any other advice for me? Anyone? Look forward to meeting people in this community.

Hello, Cindy and welcome. I'm sure you'll get used to things pretty quickly. Hope you hang around.
Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
