Hi There Folks,

I found this forum and have been lurking for a few days. And decided to join in!. As you can see by my sig, I'm an ordained Catholic deacon. I enjoy talking about theology, philosophy and Christian Apologetic. I hope to get to know some of you and know that I'm always available to answer questions about the faith and Christian world view.

Viva Cristo Rey!

Welcome to our little village.

What made you decide to be a Catholic deacon?

Welcome CD. Hope to see you in the forums.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Welcome,

I expect to be on the opposite side of what you may debate. I hope you can both challenge and enlighten me.
Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.
