They r comin out with chips that can pinpoint your location and you can buy or sell with them cause they dial right into your bank. they are called verichips and are mad easy to find out about. Is this stuff as bad as i think it is??? this could lead up to the end times. :2gun: -sk8er

Applied Digital Solutions first released information about the biochip implant research long before 2001, but activist groups raised concerns, after which ADS removed the information from their website, and actually denied that the chips were being developed.

Next came 9-1-1.

If I remember correctly the Verichip data was returned to the site within the early weeks or months after the attacks. Activist concern became irrelevant.

I don't believe Verichip is the mark of the beast, at least in its current form. However, it signals a sad change for mankind. This being the true end of privacy. This kind of technology will likely be entirely voluntary in most cases (save for potentially prison populations where they are now trying it, or gov't agencies as previously mentioned here), however, voluntary systems very easily turn into, "Why won't you get one? Do you have something to hide?" After which cases can be made to make them involuntary. Afterall, post 9-1-1, Americans interviewed said that they would give up personal freedoms for their safety. Oy.

Verichip is a good model for the Mark, though it's difficult to say yet if it's the "lucky" pick. It is at least plausible as heading in that or a similar direction. The mark of the beast will enable those with it to buy and sell, and that is a clear function of this technology. Even as soon as the version of the chip with simply medical data was announced, trackable e-commerce versions were on the table.

In the past, skeptics doubted that a "mark" could allow or prevent people from buying and selling. Those doubts have at least changed to other areas.

A few things would need be adjusted if this technology were used for the purpose of allowing/denying people from buying and selling and to be used in the bodily locations mentioned in the Bible. That said, they are relatively superficial changes.

It's a good one to watch.
