Hey I'm new
Post #1Hey everyone. I joined yesterday, and I have already been part of some debates. I'm a Christian. I'm 17, I'm a senior in high school, and I enjoy archery, shooting guns, throwing knives, playing electric guitar and learning about the human body. Yes, I'm a female that likes shooting things and throwing knives at trees. I also like war movies and I listen to heavy metal. I can take insults and attacks on me and my faith but I do get angry easily. If you want to know any more about me or if you want to talk about guns, guitars, or metal you can PM me.

I've just started watching Scrubs. Rented out Season 1 on DVD last week. I see old Lee Ermy made a guest appearance as the Janitor's father. He acted like a military man. There is one type cast actor.bernee51 wrote:I watched Full Metal Jacket again recently - a classic!OnceConvinced wrote:Welcome Onefaith. What's your favourite war movie? Mine is Platoon.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Perhaps this is because he really was, at one time, a US Marine Corps Drill Instuctor.OnceConvinced wrote:I've just started watching Scrubs. Rented out Season 1 on DVD last week. Post #15Welcome, onefaith! Good to have another metal fan here! If you like religion/spirituality and metal you might like Therion, although it requires a very open mind.onefaith wrote:Hey everyone. The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom.
No bird soars too high, if he soars with his own wings.
The nakedness of woman is the work of God.
Listen to the fool''''s reproach! it is a kingly title!
As the caterpiller chooses the fairest leaves to lay her eggs on, so the priest lays his curse on the fairest joys.

Um, yeah, about all that debating I've been doing, I was talking about how other folks act. I personally have never, and in the future will never, dispute anything you have to say or do.
Personally, I would like to speak for everyone when I say, "Welcome to our new Ms. onefaith overlord."
Guitars? I wrote a song, "I play the blues just like a bucket in a washing machine."
I might be Teddy Roosevelt, but I ain't.
