Socially Acceptable Mocking

I have noticed that it is fine to mock Muslims, but not Xians. While I understand that Xians BELIEVE they are always being persecuted, it is really the minorities that are: Mormon's (see how Romney was attacked for his crazy religion), Muslims (because of their crazy religion), atheists (because of their crazy Logic, Reason and Science), and Jews (for, well, apparently, killing God and charging interest, or something - haven't quite figured that one out).

I know we live in a Xian country, and that most of the English speaking world is Xian, but is there a double standard?

I am convinced that Xians have a coded language and an "aw, poor me, I'm just a humble servant of God" attitude that allows them to say the nastiest things imaginable.

Gay? Well, I'm afraid you should be tortured for eternity.
Non-believer? Well, Iim afraid I don't make the rules, but it's torture for eternity for you.

They, and other religionists harbor these brutal and disgusting thoughts. They relish in the Apocalypse as if it will finally end the ugliness and evil of all those they oppose. And, of course, they will be whisked away to Heaven on a cloud for being so passionate for Good and Love.

I just find the hypocrisy and blindedness intolerable - and yet, I don't feel they should be tortured. Only mocked.

Is there something wrong with me? Should I want them tortured, as they wish me to be?
