“Christianity is not a religion.” That is an interesting perspective. Is it generally accepted by Christians?
Biker wrote:Why don't you see obvious and accept Jesus Christ as your savior before its too late!
Is this intended as a threat?
Biker wrote:How many fathers do you know that would give their only son for you. None.
None, including a proposed sky daddy.

Accept the truth and quit running.
Preaching and sermons are appropriate in church – not in debate.

Biker wrote:You seem to assert that atheists or heathen unbelievers have the corner on science? True science was influenced by the truth of Gods word, and believers. Modern science has been infiltrated by heathen unbelievers which is sad. Dominated by Christians science would make quantum leaps and strides because it wouldn't waste all of its time going off in wrong directions. Just like this flood debate, Osteng makes far more sense that Zzyzx.

And I'll bet that either all or most of your above list was either outright brought to fruition by a Christian or was stolen off of or copied from a Christian by a heathen unbeliever.
Ok.... now where is your list? Surely you can come up with one, huh? Surely, God alone has inspired somebody to some sort of innovation or technology, right?

I am still waiting...

More imaginary beings, hey? I thought you were only allowed to have one.

Sorry I haven't been debating recently. There's been a lot on my plate during the new year. One thing is that I've been giving a weekly presentation on creationism during our Sunday night service. The last talk will be on Feb 10, so I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things after that.

I haven't had time to thoroughly read the posts related to the flood being literal, but wonder if any posts related to cave findings have been made? Many archaeological discoveries had been found in caves from prehistoric life, paintings, evidence of fires, etc. I would assume that a world wide flood such as proposed to have occurred in Noah's time would have left some evidence of having occurred in the caves as they would have had to been filled with water which should have an effect on fire ashes, and the water based paints used in producing the cave art. Perhaps Otseng or Zzyzx might have some comments?
