intro and question

Hi everyone,

This looks like a very intelligent place. I joined earlier this evening and made 2 or 3 posts. However, when I go to my public profile it says that I've only made 1 post. AND if i look directly under that, it says that in my most active topic I've made 2 posts. Now, I know I'm not a rocket scientist or anything, but 1!=2 (1 does not equal 2). When I go to that thread that it says I made two posts in, it only shows my first post; unless i click on reply, in which case it shows my reply in all of it's glory in the preview pane.

What gives? Is there some sort of time-delay I'm not aware of?

[edit] well, now it says "2 posts" total (which still isnt right) since i've made this thread

I'm glad you were able to resolve the problem yourself, because otherwise I would have had no clue about the discrepancy.
