What are we to make of this?

Do they not realize that they're making Jesus out to be a liar?

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
(Matthew 24:35)

"He that loveth Me not, keepeth not My sayings. And the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Fathers who sent Me."
(John 14:24)

Leftist unbelievers butcher the Scriptures in their ignorance and then falsely accuse Christians of not supporting Jesus when the truth is that good Christians do not support the blatant butchery of Scriptures the left claims are Jesus' teachings.
How is Christian scripture butchered by quoting the Beatitudes?
Those are referred to as "cafeteria Christians." They accept the parts of scripture they like, and leave the rest. Matthew 25, in particular, is ignored, and James 2 is sometimes described as "an epistle of straw" by those who are uncomfortable with God's word as it is.

Jesus never condemned people for obeying and supporting just laws.
Jesus never bore false witness by accusing foreigners of eating other people's pets either, did he?
There is incontrovertible evidence that foreigners in the US have a history of eating animals that citizens of the US consider pets.
Well, let's take a look...

Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance shared the narrative about "Haitian illegal immigrants" in a Sept. 9 post on X, opens new tab that said, "Reports now show that people have had their pets abducted and eaten by people who shouldn't be in this country." However, Springfield police and officials have said there were no credible reports of Haitian immigrants stealing pets to eat them. In a statement on Tuesday, a Springfield police spokesperson said, "In response to recent rumors alleging criminal activity by the immigrant population in our city, we wish to clarify that there have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community."

Let's examine the testimony of Christians like Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton. Which rich liberal has ever invited the poor into their homes to share all things in common? Modern lefties don't believe the stuff they falsely claim conservative Christians are in rebellion against God over.
I'm not saying that Obama, Biden and Clinton are as pure as the driven snow, nor am I claiming that "modern lefties" always practice what they preach. But if conservative Christians claim to practice what they preach, I don't see how they can reconcile their defense of massive wealth concentrated at the top of society with the social safety net established by the Christian apostles through the downward redistribution of wealth.
How much does Jesus tell Christians to give of their earnings to drunks, drug addicts, sex addicts and other depraved sinners in order to finance their sin?
Good question. Let me tell you of a failure on my part as a Christian. I was in a fried chicken place, and a really scruffy-looking guy set down near me. I was finished and left one piece of chicken on the plate. "If you're not eating that, can I have it?"

"Sure" I gave it to him. I should have purchased a meal for him. He was young and looked healthy, and probably could have found some kind of work. But maybe not. He could have been mentally ill, or otherwise unable to hold a job. Jesus didn't say "feed the hungry, but only if they deserve it." He said "feed the hungry." I just missed it. We need to remember that when we care for those people we are caring for Him. Even if they don't deserve it.

Marke: One problem facing the public is the fact that photos of Haitians holding gueese by the necks have never been clearly and irrefutably debunked as not showing evidence of hungry Haitians finding food in public.

Exactly: Why are Americans insisting that hungry, homeless, and jobless Haitian immigrants coming from a culture where pets are regularly eaten for food would not also eat animals they find in the street in America as well?

On a side note, I hired many illegals in my work in past years and once even housed an entire immigrant family in my home for months.

Marke: Just as 4 years of fake Trump/Russian collusion reports proved false, the stories about Haitians eating pets may also prove to be false.

You might not know that Mueller took down a good number of people for their crimes in the Russiagate conspiracy. Would you like me to show you?

On the other hand, there is no evidence whatever for the stories that Donald Trump and his underlings were peddling about immigrants eating pets. Do you honestly think the police are lying, and that Donald Trump was not lying? Seriously?

Marke: Mueller never looked into the Seth Rich assassination and never examined the multiple false claims Schiff made about having evidence nobody else had and which he never produced. Mueller was a paid puppet in the corrupt democrat party's effort to destroy Trump with blatant lies.
