Give them all A Cups!

Post by Purple Knight »

Question for Debate: When they give a trans woman D cups, as part of medically necessary, insurance-covered transgender care, are they saying that having something smaller might interfere with a woman's identity as a woman and therefore a woman needs a D cup, to really feel like a woman?

If not then give them all A cups!

...When it's covered by insurance of course. When it's under the umbrella of necessary mental health care or they'll die. When they pay they can have whatever they want.

Just let the patient decide, why would anyone else get a say just because insurance is paying for it?

Because it's cosmetic. If you need breasts to feel like a woman, we'll accept that is true, but you don't need D-cups. D-cups are not medically necessary to feel like a woman, otherwise insurance should cover them for flat biological females too.

Then your argument is really that insurance shouldn't cover cosmetic surgery, not just cosmetic surgery for trans people, right?

Then let's just agree that it should. Easy-peasy.

Not at all, my argument is that cosmetic surgery shouldn't be covered for some and not for others. There's a problem however in covering it for everyone and that's that there's not enough money in the world to make everyone top-tier beautiful. Even if they did seriously try, it would just mean the bar would move.

It seems like there are some trans women, but definitely not all of them and if I had to guess a very small minority, who aren't actually trans and are just opportunistic. They have noticed that trans women are always hot, and life is much easier as a very hot woman than as an average or even above-average man. We don't need to be pressuring the horrible, already leaky and bloated insurance system to pay for these people to have an easy life and $50 tips at Hooters. If it's just about having breasts they can be A-cups.

They don't need A-cups either. A-cups are not medically necessary to feel like a woman, breasts are. Why are you not arguing to give them all D-cups, or give them all random cup size?

To screen out the people who aren't trans and want cosmetic surgery to turn them into a 10 for free, so they can have an easy life at everyone else's expense, because hot women have a ticket to easy street in life. If the person is really writhing in agony that they're not female enough, any breasts will do, so A is fine. If there were some crystal ball and we could see what cup size they would actually have had, if they'd been born female, I'd be all for giving them that. If you say random roll a d4, I imagine the certain people who want an easier life would just say they were trans and back out if they didn't get at least a C.

They're also devaluing beauty by getting the highest beauty from a knife. Women are judged on their looks. So every 10 they make with a knife, the 1-9s suffer for it. If it's a pie, there's no reason to cut trans women in for a big piece when doing that makes everyone else's piece smaller. And men do get desensitised to beauty from exposure to extreme beauty, requiring more to rate the woman as highly as before. Hypernormal stimuli.

I'm not saying cosmetic surgery should be illegal. But if you're going to cut yourself in for a big piece of the pie which will make everyone else's pie smaller, you'd darn well better not do it on their dime.

You don't need to screen anyone out because a cisgender man would not want cosmetic surgery to turn them into a 10 for free. I am seriously struggling to comprehend a scenario where cisgender man would want to pretend to be a trans woman for the purpose of getting free breast enlargement, and how that man would have an easier life as a fake trans woman than his old life as a man.

And if for whatever reason a cisgender man want to do abuse the system, I say let him. I'd rather the system gets abuse by one man than to make things harder for 100 trans women.

Well, is it a good reason to cut trans women in for a small piece for the purpose of makes everyone else's piece bigger? Is makes trans women happier not a good enough reason? They are already going under the knife anything, give them what they want, not everyone wants D cups anyway.

Transgender people are rare, it's not gonna make a difference in the grand scheme of things in terms of pies. What you are suggesting is just sounds like being mean to trans people.

Autogynophilia.

But it doesn't make it harder for trans women. They will be perfectly happy with A cups. They will be happy to have breasts at all. The people who will cry and moan because they didn't get D-cups... it's not about being a woman. It's about being a hot woman. If the system doesn't pay for that for biological females, nor should it for trans women.

Giving them what they want devalues what others have, and those others can't get free cosmetic surgery. It does make a difference because even though trans women might be rare, but after they become 10s, they go straight to YouTube and Hooters and anywhere else they can cash in what they got for free, and disproportionately influence the standard of beauty, which helps them, because they get clicks and big tips, but hurts others whose mediocre beauty has been devalued.

I had to look that up, don't see how that is relevant. Are they cisgender or transgender? If they are trans, then they are not abusing the system. If they are not, they would be happy with cross dressing.
But it doesn't make it harder for trans women. They will be perfectly happy with A cups. They will be happy to have breasts at all.
They would? Then why would you need to enforce it?

You just said trans women would be perfectly happy with A cups, now you are saying there are those who would cry and moan with anything less than D cups. Which is it?
If the system doesn't pay for that for biological females, nor should it for trans women.
But the system is already paying for the operation, may as well give them what they want.

How much of a difference is it gonna make?
