Has anyone heard of this? Repulsive.
I was reading about the story of what happened to the body of Eva Peron in Argentina some decades ago, a most macabre tale. This led to finding out about extreme embalming.
Actually I did not know that Catholics do not favour cremation as they believe in resurrection of the body. Which to me is illogical.
Back to the initial point - is extreme embalming ethically wrong? Preserving and posing a corpse, often at it's own funeral.

Just because someone wishes it doesn't mean it's ethical. I suppose it must be within the law, but it is horrible and grotesque.
