Because, like the Pascal's Wager argument presents, (in to follow Jesus - just in case), the only alternative presented offer, from this identified intolerant god, is to suffer eternal conscious torment, for which god/Jesus also apparently created.

41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, 42 and they will throw them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Father is truly a monster, and his son is the same. Disgusting vindictive intolerant monsters. Good thing neither actually exist.

Would you have suffering, death, starvation, abuse, etc... instead continue and remain forever?

Because the weeds in this parable have been permitted to remain on the earth and grow among the wheat from the beginning - but at some point that will come to an end. Along with death, sorrow, tears, pain. (Rev 21:4)

And even AFTER Christ returns, no one is killed by Him (despite what some religions teach.) Some (the sheep - and these are non-Christians) are invited into the Kingdom and others (the goats) are cast out.

Then at the end of the thousand years - people outside the Kingdom come to attack the people God loves. God did not hunt them down. They came out to attack innocent people loved by God. God protects His people.
