"Keep doing whatever you are doing"

Today I visited the VA for my annual meeting with primary care doctor. He had scheduled a battery of tests earlier in the week and we discussed the results.
His summation was "All the tests are very favorable (he detailed them). Keep doing whatever you are doing. You are in great shape for seventy-five -- or much younger."
When I said that I was headed for the fitness center after leaving the clinic he said, "That's why."
