I joined these forums more than two years ago. I joined because of being drawn to the well-behaved nature of these forums. I felt these forums would be a place where I could learn and hone my skills. Sadly, I have not often been able to participate as much as I would have liked. I have a good deal of respect for some within these forums. They were respectful, gracious, and kind. To them, I am grateful for their time and thoughts.
Unfortunately, my time is running out. I will no longer be able to participate due to priorities which take precedence over my participation here. I wish the opportunity were there for me to stay, but alas it is not. So, for the next week or two, I will be around as time permits. Then I will disappear into oblivion.

Post #2I understand priorities such as work and family. I also find little time to be on these forums. Where some find the countless hours to be able to spend on these forums is astonishing to me (the word unemployed comes to mindtselem wrote:I joined these forums more than two years ago. Post #4Thanks for the kind words. I still have a couple of weeks with some free time before returning to the States, but after that participation would be sketchy. I am flawed in that it's all too easy for me to get sucked into debates. Hence, one post becomes ten posts. Fifteen minutes turns into five hours. This is why I have often lurked, but not responded. I know how time consuming it can be. And I have often wondered how others find the time as well. Perhaps they're all simply smarter than I am. That is, maybe they can formulate their thoughts and understand things more quickly than I can. But, of course, being unemployed is a good option as well.Goose wrote:I understand priorities such as work and family. I also find little time to be on these forums. At any rate, perhaps you'll find time to drop in once in a while as I do. You know - check your PMs, throw in a post or two etc. God bless and your posts are(were?) appreciated.

Anyhow, thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for your participation and for your farewell. Most, if not all, simply disappear without any warning. I also wonder at how people are able to participate so much on the forum. Thanks again and peace and grace to you.

The forum has benefited greatly from your reasoned and thoughtful presence. Your absence will leave a large gap among 1) Theists, 2) Thinking people, and 3) Civil debaters.
Best wishes in your studies and your other interests.
It has been a pleasure exchanging ideas with you. Now GO and do well.

Thanks to you for the forum. I would not had 'wasted' so much time were it not for you.otseng wrote:Thanks for your participation and for your farewell.
