Hey everyone.:)
My names Andrew,
from Ireland:D
I was raised in a Catholic family, but I never really agreed with the teachings of the church or the bible, so at age 15, I decided to read the Bible and the Qua'ran along with books such as The God Delusion and The Origin of Species:)
I believe in Evolution:)
I'm Epistemically minded, and I prefer logical, rational discussions to hate filled ones:P
I have friends of many religions and I'm open- minded.
~I'm personally not a believer of any particular faith,
Not quite sure if I'm a Deist, or a Pantheist who believes in God as a poetic title for the natural scientific laws of Physics.
I'm currently attending secondary school (high school) and I hope to study Medicine:)

Welcome

Some of my ancestors were from Ireland. They had to leave in the potato famine.

It would have been nice if the God Delusion was available when I was fifteen.

I hope that the challenges provided by these debates will help you to discover and hone down what you do believe.

Welcome to the forum.

We've debated both of those books on this forum. And I've found them to be lots of bark and little bite. O:)

Hi McCulloch:DCool, do you know what part of Ireland they were from?:)
Hey Otseng:) Cool, thanks for the link to those debates:)
I've just looked around this site, it's good to see people of all religions together, and that are moderaters of different beliefs:)
I enjoyed both books, but I don't mind people of liberal religious beliefs:)
I believe that once it doesn't restrict the rights of others "s'all good":D

As far as we can tell, and Irish genealogical records are notoriously incomplete, Donegal, Armagh and Cork. My paternal male line consists of line of Scots who married women of Irish descent in Canada.
