Hello brothers and sisters

Post by wozie »

Hi all,

I just wanted to say a quick Hi to everyone here.

I am from the United Kingdom, have travelled extensively throughout the world in the last 5 years. I have lived in New Zealand, Australia and currently living in Spain, Viva España.
I am 29, was brought up as a Jehovahs Witness but since the age of 16 have decided I did not want to be a part of it and left. I am however interested in religion as a subject but not as a way of life.

Regards,
wozie

Welcome Wozie, where in New Zealand did you live?

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Welcome to the forum wozie. Look forward to seeing what you can add to the debates. See you around.
