"Hey why are you highlighting my name and what I say in such 'gay' color as red, are you trying to 'suggest' a wrong gender to me?"

Yes, Ancient of Years,
Joey's link in #494 really puts that corporate-welfare-statist Texas crowd of traitors in its place.
GO TO JOEY'S AND CLICK ON LINK!
SPOILER ALERT:
I disagree, however, that it gave itself away that quickly. Sure, the prompt "No" answer was suspicious, but the letter itself acknowledged the improbability of such conciseness--and promptly launched into endless verbiage. I could envisage some low-level staffer building a bureaucratic reputation for himself, a Don Quixote tilting at windmills--and bringing them crashing to the ground.
It only gave itself totally away at the end with the supposed signature of such a high official who would not have dared our whole Republic coming crashing down upon him with the Obama administration OFFICIALLY taking on the BIGGEST (talking) state in the Union. Hilarious!
EDITED TO ADD (TOO LATE I'M AFRAID) (Well it was nice here while it lasted):
Why didn't somebody warn me otseng is from Texas? I had looked him up in our Memberlist, and it does not give his location. How was I to know?
But if I'm in trouble, so is Joey, and everyone knows HE'S not going anywhere!

Post #503These days I imagine for many, their memory of McLuhan is limited to clip in Annie Hall where Woody gets to live out the fantasy many of us have had when trapped near a loud mouthed pontificator.Ancient of Years wrote:

“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

You put a beer on TOP of the bar....
Reminds me of the answer to the question, "What's the difference between meat and fish?.
If you beat your fish, it dies.

I wouldn't tease Joey.
I hear he is 'strong like bull' and 'smart like tractor'!

You can give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day, or you can teach a man to pray for fish and he will starve to death.
