Those who have been conditioned / indoctrinated / taught to believe in miracles seem to lose the ability to distinguish between plausible and implausible. Some consider that navie or gullible.

What you present seems, in my opinion, to be far more rational than that presented by most Christians here in debate and elsewhere.

I accept that a wandering preacher similar to the Jesus presented in the New Testament probably existed â€“ with exception of any supernatural connotations or claims.

I place no trust in the writings of Paul/Saul who admittedly had NO contact with Jesus when he was alive, but who claimed to have learned all he knew from a â€œvisionâ€� (or hallucination, or delusion, or fantasy, or whatever it was).

Whether Jesus was baptized is of no significance that I can tell (heck, I was baptized). He was likely executed (I have not been so far).

Where do we go from there?
