I agree completely and you make an important observation that I had not completely considered.

My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Haha, while I do believe we have the same overall objectives, both of our topics are necessary for the discussion. You are tackling Creationism in the present, I'm attempting to unravel Creationism in the future and revealing it for the hollow non-theory it is. I anticipate very little actual debate, since our topics are much more intrusive than something most Creationists are willing to go into.

Indeed, one could define science as reason’s attempt to compensate for our inability to perceive big numbers... so we have science, to deduce about the gargantuan what we, with our infinitesimal faculties, will never sense. If people fear big numbers, is it any wonder that they fear science as well and turn for solace to the comforting smallness of mysticism?

This is a great subject for a thread of its own . . .
"in what way can you establish that your belief in the existence of God is in any way different from make believe and wishful thinking?"
