How to praise a member's post:

- Next to the user's post that you like, click on "MPG Donation".
- Enter how many tokens you'd like to donate and enter a comment on that particular post. It'll then send a PM to that user and also automatically post in this thread the message you entered.

I write this in response to the following comment in the 'Does “Honor thy Mother and Father” make sense?' topic:

It's disappointing to see intelligent thoughtful individuals resorting to hostile language or being disrespectful. There is none among us, through everything I've read during my short time here, that does not possess the faculties to see how destructive negative language is. It will get us no where.

Regretibly, this needed to be said, but I did want to point out the positive fact that you have shown both love and strength in your attempts to elevate the conversation. It is often harder to give a kind repsonse than an intelligent one, but I believe the benifits to be greater. Everything I have read of yours has impressed me thus far (both in terms of respectfulness and inteligence), and I am pleased to see you on the site.
We must continually ask ourselves whether victory has become more central to our goals than truth.

for a nice little chuckle..

“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

Even in the face of individuals who obviously don't share your vision, you continue to maintain your integrity with a wonderful consistency. It helps others, including myself, maintain the strength in the face of adversarial differences.

Thank you

50 tokens for expressing such clear vision when evaluating this particular question. Very well said. Oh that I could be so eloquent with my evaluations.
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

Easyrider has answered the question I posed rather well.
