A lot of Christians don't realize that Muslims worship the same god as they do.

Question for Debate: Why? Is there a Islamic belief that causes this?

Yep, I kinda think its funny how we keep stating the obvious right now lol

Well it's my way of impressing upon you the importance of being absolutely sure about the religion your in.

I could have started to rip into mormonisim but that would have just got the mods giving me warning about being a big mean bully hurting people feelings.

This way i can show my absolute opposition to mormonisim and give you warning and be mr Politically Correct niceness about it.

Adstar, I'm going to be quite frank, no one likes a cocky attitude, especially when it's disguised behind oblique remarks. Mormon boy has been polite & civil throughout this convo.

If you ask me, the truth is expressed by the followers of the religion. & Mormon boy is doing a finer job than you.

On this I agree with Adstar except that I would extend it even to those who do not believe that a God exists. Everyone should be very intent on finding out the truth about God. The consequences of being wrong are far too great to be overlooked. No one can rely on their parents, their community or ancient documents to be right on this question of ultimate personal importance.
