Did Jesus teach Jesus-worship?

As postroad demonstrates with these verses, Jesus according to the NT allowed people to worship him.

Matthew 2:11
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Matthew 14:33
Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God
Matthew 28:9
Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,� he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.

Matthew 28:17
When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.

Luke 24:52
Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.


John 9:38
Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,� and he worshiped him.

But it seems that allowance was passive.

But did Jesus actively teach Jesus-worship? Did Jesus actually teach anyone to pray TO Jesus?

If I remember correctly, Jesus only taught people to worship the Father.

-The Lord's prayer in Matthew and Luke. (hallowed be thy name).
-Teaching the two great Laws of Love in the Sermon on the Mount, (love God and Neighbor with all your heart)

So, for debate,

-Did Jesus actively teach Jesus-worship?
-If he did not, then why wouldn't he, if Jesus was actually "God"?

No

Ah...... Jesus did not claim to be God, although some Christian writers might have wished that he had, or believed that he had.

I notice that only Matthew, Luke and John make such mentions. G-Mark, the original G-Mark, simply records that Jesus thought himself to be a Son of Man.
