Paradise on Earth

Post by onewithhim »

When I learned that the Bible speaks of a restored Garden of Eden and the restoration of mankind to the perfection and endless life that Adam forfeited, I was thrilled. Who doesn't want to keep living on this beautiful earth, with our loved ones, and being able to do all the things we love to do---endlessly?

If God said to you today, "When do you want to die?" would you say "now!!"? I don't think very many people would say that.

We CAN live forever here on Earth. The Bible tells us that we can.

Matthew 5:5
Psalm 37:9-11,29

How about Genesis 1:1 ...
How about you explain the following scriptures first?

GENESIS 11:9 King James Version

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth:
PSALMS 97:1 Douay-Rheims Bible

For the same David, when his land was restored again to him. The Lord hath reigned, let the earth rejoice: let many islands be glad.
PSALM 66:4 King James Bible
All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
PSALM 76v8

The earth was afraid and was silent ...
No man/woman created in the first day of creation yet, earth there is literal land, ground, earth that will not sing of course.

OT:776
<END HEBREW> 'erets (eh'-rets); from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):

KJV - common, country, earth, field, ground, land, natins, way, wilderness, world.
(Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

Genesis 1:1
When God in the beginning created the heaven and the earth, the earth was empty and waste. He moreover teaches by the word "created," that what before did not exist was now made; for he has not used the term (yatsar,) which signifies to frame or forms but (bara,) which signifies to create. I cannot see how what you posted here explains the four scriptures above.

Does that mean that sometimes the earth sings? What do you mean "not all the time" that implies that you are admitting that the earth does sing "some of the time", but HOW can a planet sing without a mouth ? The planet doesn't have vocal cords. Please explain.

That surely shows that the earth itself doesn't have the capacity to be afraid, sing, or worship God. There is symbolism there, I would think, pointing to the people ON the earth. Those verses aren't to be taken literally, are they?

Lexicon also defined "earth" as land, field, ground, etc. Why you are just focused to other definition?
Do land, ground, field, etc sings?

What does this verse says to you? Literal earth or not?
See lexicon majority definition of earth.
Any word symbolic in that definition?

Matt 5:5
5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
KJV

NT:1093 gee, earth
1. arable land: Matt 13:5,8,23
2. the ground, the earth as a standing-place Matt 10:29
3. the main land, opposed to sea or water: Mark 4:1
4. the earth as a whole, the world
a. the earth as opposed to the heavens: Matt 5:18,35
b. the inhabited earth, the abode of men and animals: Luke 21:35
5. a country, land enclosed within fixed boundaries, a tract of land, territory, region; Luke 4:25

Use whatever definition you like but explain the scriptures. It says say the earth sings? Explain how that can be, does the earth have a mouth and vocal cords. We are all still waiting for you to explain the verses. Is it so complicated what I am asking EXPLAIN THE SCRIPTURES ABOVE tell us what they MEAN Why do you not just explain how they can be true?

The earth is afraid
The earth has language
The earth sings

How can these verses be true when the earth has no mouth? EXPLAIN
