Oh my. The Chiefs' loss, so great. What if it was a big fat zero to 40 or however many the Eagles won?
I was contemplating that for a while. Considering that that might happen. Would it have been worse? I don't think so. I think some more points tacked onto the end of the game, is almost in its own right a kind of salting the wound. Although, that throw and catch towards the end was something.
Which brings me to the issue of Unconditional Loving. Obviously, we need to have a stake in a game if we wish to win it. If you don't think you can win it, you probably won't. Or would you? If we were just beaming with positivity all the time, win or lose, could we not truly encounter that unconditioned absolute? But most who know That no longer have interest in playing sports. Unless sports is your thing.
My wanting to see a big fat zero, however, highlights my own envy. The fact I didn't get the zero, and got downed by it, highlighted my own need to embrace the Unconditioned.
So it is. Har Aum Tat Sat.
