Well, just want to see if anyone is interested why Islam is right.

Post #22So as i see it an infidel is anyone who doesn't agree with you!Dictionary.com wrote:Infidel: An unbeliever with respect to a particular religion, especially Christianity or Islam.
One who has no religious beliefs.
One who doubts or rejects a particular doctrine, system, or principle.

Allah or islam have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of the islam faith or unbelievers so they can go to Heaven. Would this be a correct statement?

Well it does sound psychotic, but I'm sure that there are many learned and venerable Muslims who will argue against that statement or belief. I hope that we could have a bigger Muslim representation here someday, who can explain things in a better light.
I remember reading in a muslim text somewhere that when they die, they see 70 or 80 something virgins welcoming them, and they are given numerous (16 or 21 or again, somewhere around that value) palaces where they can reside in. The author of that particular passage probably didn't want to ask Allah if He could give a million of each instead.
Reading both of Illyricum's and canadianhorsefan's arguments, I surmise that this discussion of exclusive salvation claimed by both sides is one to which there is no end. Ironically, it is because of this very exclusive claim that the Christian in me died.

Do children go to Heaven?
"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God" Mk 10:14
Jesus not the only son of God
Lk 3:38 "Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God"[/quote]

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son
God didn't say one of his sons, God said His only-begotten Son
And this seems to be a little off the discussion.

Yes, Pyrrhonist, please stay on topic. If you intended this post to pertain to the thread, please tie it in a little better. Refer to the rules, #3 & #4.

It gets tricky here, Allah - God - Jehova are considered the sam early on BY SOME. They branch out later on in the religions. Even Though Jehova is still considered the christian God too since he was the God of the Jews.adherent wrote:Wait, you voted yes? Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I thought christianity is not the same as Islam. And also I thought the Christian God is not the same as the Islamic god. Our religious texts don't even concur. I do think the descendents of Abrahams son ?Ishmael? by his wife Sarahs female servant were the ones who later came up with the religion of Islam.

Can you give more detail, which embryologist for example? or where in the Qur'an embryology is discussed?
I have my doubts as my understanding of Arabs at this time were that they were excellent scientists well in advance of the Christians of Western Europe.
Also was'n't it only a couple of years before 1600 that Islam was invented?

She has not been around for some time, but I think she would object to it being called an "invention". 1600 is quite impossible. The first crusade was 1066, if I remember rightly, and at that time Muslims were in control of Jerusalem and treated the Jews with a good deal more respect than the Christian invaders did.n16 wrote: Also was'n't it only a couple of years before 1600 that Islam was invented?
No, Islam was founded around the 7th century AD when Muhammad was visited by an angel who dictated doctrine directly to him. The Koran is important in this respect because it is supposed to be a book without flaws, untampered by the machinations of man throughout the centuries, and therefore the purest revelation of the god of Adam.
