God

If god is the one responsible for creating the weather, natural disasters as such and he knows that he is creating them and that they kill innocent lives, I call god the real evil of the world, not satan but god.

If God really did create these things, then it seems to me he put the systems in place and that they are left to run their course without his intervention. You may be right about God's intentions being evil. But how does that suggest that Satan is good?

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Yes, you are right. God or Creator respectively is halfly evil and halfly good. Your nickname is "ilovesatan" but do you know him?

An excerpt from my book Amen: "The Lord is not only good - actually even better than people can imagine it, but at the same time much worser. From human viewpoint, he is not only very good but also very bad. His positive part caused Jesus Christ to arise and his negative part the Satan. Therefore be afraid of him who created the Devil since he likes when you fear him!"

It means I'm sick of your constant preaching.

"worser" is 100% not a word. Any book that tries to prove a point with 'worser' anywhere in the writing should be burned and used to make smores, so that one could say the author contributed something to the world.

Natural disasters are a bi-product of the earth's function. The necessary forces generated by our orbit around the sun, the moon's orbit around us, and our daily rotation around our axis, are all necessary for life. So are the particles ine atmosphere that charge electrons into lightning and the currents in the ocean that circulate heat and food the world over (and create the weather patterns that lead to hurricanes) Even plate tectonics and the magma involved are highly neccessary to life on earth, with the early atmosphere of our planet being born from volcanic erruption.

The natural disasters are all parts of necessary happenings on earth to maintain life. If the forces that created these disasters did not exist, then neither (and never) would we.

Glass houses folks. Someone who complains about the use of the word worser should be careful not to misspell byproduct. At least worser is easily understood using standard English rules. The prefix bi normally means two.

Yes, well... you're ugly.

Alright, you got me there, I'll be over here extracting my foot from my mouth. I'm generally pretty good about spelling, but I'm also rather anal about things like "Worser". People who can't use "seen" and "saw" properly also bother me, as does confusing "imply" and "infer," which, contrary to popular usage, do not mean the same thing.
