Would An Intersexual Marriage Be Morally Wrong?

For those who believe that gay marriage is against God's ways, what about an Intersexual marrying anyone, male or female?

Their unofficial position is "you chromosomes will determine what sex you are" even when it has nothing to do with how you feel what your gender/sex is.

They don't touch it, bc they know they have no logical or rational grounds for their arguments. If anything, fundies would just rather have intersexed individuals to not be allowed to marry at all, imo, which is a bit discriminative.

Chromosomes can be intersexual. There are plenty of xxy people.

But there are also cases where chromosome and morphology can be largely opposite. I doubt the fundies would have the courage of their convictions to deny a person female indentity who looks female but has male chromosomes.

Which begs a whole lot of questions. What exactly are the fundies reacting to? Medical/biological science?.... or just their own aesthetic and cultural preferences...the facts of biology be consigned to hades?

To up the question. What does the fundy propose to do with the person who is smack in the middle...an androgyne....in looks....morphology....in thought....in self understanding? Their marriage to a straight male or female (if there is really such) would logically have to come under their sexual policing.

The real world issue with the sexual police mindset is all the surgical and chemical treatment imposed on intersexual children....over which the children have no say.

In my opinion the reason they "don't take up the subject" is obvious.

Having spoken with several fundamentalist Christians on the subject of homosexuality, their position is simply that homosexuality doesn't exist. Homosexuals are simply humans who have chosen to "live in sin", and have chosen a particular life style. The fact that this statement has been shown to be false by many scientists: These studies are but two of many -- Evidence for maternally inherited factors favouring male homosexuality, and Studies on the Genetic Determination of Homosexuality, means nothing to those who do not believe in empirical evidence.

However, what can NOT be disputed, are the physical traits of a Hermaphrodite. Here it can not be posited that it was the individual's choice to live in sin. Rather it is a very real biological reality. Therefor, to make the same assumptions, and to discriminate on the same basis, becomes impossible. So, they avoid it entirely.

When reality proves the religionists wrong, they simply ignore the reality. So "wonder why" no longer.
