Any Trump Supporters Still on Board?

Even Fox News is abandoning ship.

Fox News
“Donald Trump’s vitriolic attacks against Megyn Kelly and his extreme, sick obsession with her is beneath the dignity of a presidential candidate who wants to occupy the highest office in the land. Megyn is an exemplary journalist and one of the leading anchors in America — we’re extremely proud of her phenomenal work and continue to fully support her throughout every day of Trump’s endless barrage of crude and sexist verbal assaults. As the mother of three young children, with a successful law career and the second highest rated show in cable news, it’s especially deplorable for her to be repeatedly abused just for doing her job.

Why is he one of your heroes, EJ?
He is an Israeli patriot who is staunchly pro-American, and is not PC. He wants peace, but knows how to defend Israel from Palestinian terrorists.
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

One of Trump's biggest advantages is that he doesn't care to be 'politically correct' since he is not a career politician. People are tired of politicians.
So, the more he does WRONG, the more RIGHT it is?

Let's all vote for the worst politician out there, then?

But of course!
We don't have to give it back.
We take, this is American way!

Does this sound ugly? Yes it does because it is.
Just like every other country in the world. When are we going to stop paying other people to not threaten us? Until everyone else pays up and we stop handing out money for presumed leverage, then maybe we can consider not withholding money for leverage.

It's called enforcement Obama loves stuff like sanctuary cities. The Obama administration sued the state of Arizona for attempting to enforce it's borders.

The Obama administration paid Iran ransom money. 400 million I think it was.

I don't agree with a complete Muslim ban, but Trump seems to be backing off a bit in favor of "extreme vetting".

Also, part of the PC nonsense I listed above and forgot to add is siding with Israel's enemies, on college campuses, the Palestinians get far more sympathy than does Israel.

And Obama has been caught on a live mic saying disparaging things about one of my heroes, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Obama is part of the problem, and his administration, (Hillary) should not be voted in again.

Hillary does not have a good record, email insecurity, and lying to the families of Benghazi victims.

Disgusting.

Hillary is an extention of Obama, as is John Kerry.

Trump isn't the best, but he is the only realistic alternative to Hillary.

I could understand why someone might want to sit out this election, but I cannot understand why anyone should vote for Hillary.

Because:

1) Hillary is clearly more qualified.
2) Hillary, whatever her shortcomings, is an order of magnitude more honest than Trump. That has been very well-documented.
3) Hillary is supported by a whole host of Republican who know how to run things in government including the security apparatus. The idea that Trump would be better is ludicrous. If you want to launch a rocket, you listen to guys who know how to build rockets, even if they are not PC.
4) Hillary and Bill run a foundation that actually does good for millions of people around the world, with a high rating from charity watch dogs, with zero documented sleaze. Trump uses his foundation to bribe political officials to call off investigations and pay his legal bills and fines.
5) Most of the accusations made against Hillary (including some posted above, e.g. Benghazi) or entirely bogus or blown out of proportion. If Trump was held to the same standard, he would have been thrown out of the race months ago.
6) e-mail scandal? Baloney. FBI said no laws broken. We now know Colin Powell and others did the same thing, at least from a legal perspective. No actual confidential information was divulged. No evidence any damage was done to national security.
7) Hillary has issues with transparency. However, Trump, in not releasing his tax returns, not divulging anything approaching a legitimate health resume, settling a multitude of lawsuits to avoid scrutiny, is much, much worse.
8) Trump's business dealings likely would entail the most flagrant conflicts of interest in the history of Presidents, given his numerous dealings with Russia.

You are right in one thing. The choice is very clear who is the better candidate. The answer is Clinton.

Hey micatala, good to see you back.
micatala wrote:1) Hillary is clearly more qualified.
Not really. The only reason why Hillary appears to be so 'qualified' is due to the fact that she's running against someone who is horribly under-qualified.
micatala wrote:2) Hillary, whatever her shortcomings, is an order of magnitude more honest than Trump. That has been very well-documented.
Nope. I agree that Trump's character deficiencies far surpass Clinton's deficiencies, but Trump is far more honest than Hillary. Hillary is liar and an opportunist, and yea, so is Trump, but Hillary is on a completely different level.
micatala wrote:3) Hillary is supported by a whole host of Republican who know how to run things in government including the security apparatus. The idea that Trump would be better is ludicrous. Yea, I support Hillary to a certain extent and may even vote for her, and I'm a republican. But I'm not a shill for her, I'm not a blind supporter of her, I am objective enough to see that she is dishonest.
micatala wrote:4) Hillary and Bill run a foundation that actually does good for millions of people around the world, with a high rating from charity watch dogs, with zero documented sleaze. Again, this is part of the blind, zealous support that I hear from Hillary surrogates. Try being objective. The Clinton foundation is under investigation for essentially being the epitome of a pay to play scheme. The Clinton foundation is one of the only charitable foundations that doesn't actually make charitable grants, like the Gates foundation does. Trump's foundation is a joke, and Clinton's foundation is more oriented towards political influence than actual charitable work. Try being objective.

I agree with everything else you said in point 5-8.

The only thing I'll concede to you is that Hillary is more experienced. Otherwise, your response is just a serious of denials and counter accusations against Trump.

Your denials are not argument, and lack substance.

It boils down to this.

If you are OK with sanctuary cities, selective enforcement of the law, weak borders, importation of Syrian refugess by 500%, abortion on demand, disrespect and false charges of "racism" against law enforcement and others, trans-gender bathrooms, putting the world's intrest ahead of America's, the further weakening of America, the the general degradation of the culture, then by all means vote for Hillary Clinton.

If not, unseemly as it may be, (as it amounts to one dishonest person against the other), Donald Trump seems to be the only viable alternative.
My theological positions:

Donald Trump is not a viable alternative. His proposals are not realistic.

His plan to defeat ISIS is to "bomb the hell out of them" (his own words in his own speeches)

He also stated in the Commander in Chief Forum that he would assemble the military general and give them 30 days to come up with a a plan to defeat ISIS. But all of this assumes that the solution to ISIS is entirely a military solution. That is unrealistic.

Don't you think that if it was possible to just bomb the hell out of ISIS that wouldn't have been done already? :-k

That's no a realistic solution. We have even been using very precision drone strikes and we still cause collateral damage that the American people dislike.

Hillary has the only realistic and viable solution to ISIS, and that is an intellectual solution of combating their ideology directly as well as combating their Internet recruiting power. These are the realistic and sane ways to combat ISIS.

Also Hillary realizes that we need the Muslims to help combat ISIS. Trump want to alienate Muslims and profile against them. That would only drive up ISIS recruitment.

Trump as NO CLUE how to deal with ISIS. He's not a viable presidential candidate. Trump would turn millions of Muslims against American and send ISIS droves of recruitment. ISIS is already using Trump's Campaign speeches as a recruitment tool.

~~~~~~
Trump is also not a viable alternative to the economy. Trump wants to deregulate the fossil fuel industries so they can pollute and destroy the environment to their heart's content. He also promises to bring back the Coal Mines, which is ridiculous. Modern Coal Mines don't need manual labor coal miners anymore. They do all the mining with huge automatic and robotic machinery. Deregulating the coal industries isn't going to "bring back" the coal mine jobs. That is never going to happen. Trump can't force the coal industry to go back to 1950's technology. But that's what he would need to do if he expect the coal mines to produce a lot of jobs for coal miners.
Trump has no realistic solutions. He's nothing but empty hot air.
~~~~~~~

Trump claims that he would be the "Law and Order" candidate. But the police are already doing their job. What would Trump expect to do? Tell the police to forget about the constitution and civil rights and just enforce a state of "Marshal Law"? That would only make things worse, not better.

Hillary works with the police departments and the communities to find realistic solutions that actually WORK.

Trump is not a "Viable Alternative".

Trump just wants to become president so he can play with the United States of American as his new personal toy.

He's not a realistic candidate at all. He has no solutions for anything. All he has is a bunch of empty hot air. He thinks he can just solve every problem with brute force methods. That's never going to work.

Hillary has REAL SOLUTIONS to offer.

Trump is nothing but an extremely dangerous joke.

It's sad that there are actually enough Americans supporting him that he's even still in the competition at all. That doesn't say much for America.

I totally agree!

It says even less about the "Republican" Party!

They should have shut off Donald's microphone, escorted him from the stage, and out of the party when he first used vulgarity or profaned minorities, other countries, other religions, women, or the handicapped.

That's what really embarrasses me.

My party no longer has any courage or character.

===========================================================================

I'm not really voting "for" any of the four candidates.

The only possible winning candidates are the clown and Hillary.

I believe my country will probably survive four years under a Hillary administration.

I am not convinced that holds true under the Republican clown.

If my senator Ted Cruz had any character, he would have insisted that the debate moderators instruct Donald to address him as Senator or Mr. Cruz.

If Governor Jeb Bush had any character, he would have insisted that the debate moderators instruct Donald to address him as Governor or Mr. Bush.

If Governor Kasich had any character, he would have insisted that the debate moderators instruct Donald to address him as Governor or Mr. Kasich.

No one involved in the Republican "debates" seemed to know anything about running a debate.

For the first time ever, I will vote the straight Democratic ticket.

Hope other discouraged "Republicans" do the same.

So you impugn people's character for minor oversights in the heat of a debate? That seems fair to you?

It is sad, that the Republicans overlooked 15 extremely well-qualified candidates and chose Trump instead.

But he is all we have to stop an even more dangerous candidate in Hillary Clinton.

I agree with some of DI's points and strongly disagree with others.

I see both candidates as liars, habitual ones at that. The Cynic in me says well, they are just politicians.

But I see each as bringing dishonesty to a whole new level. ESPECIALLY HIllary...c'mon, bleaching her emails and smashing her devices with a hammer? What is she trying to hide?

So it comes down to competing visions for America.

-Hillary wants to increase the importation of Syrian refugees by 500% over even Obama, Trump does not.

-Hillary advocates abortion on demand, Trump does not.

-Hillary will appoint extremist Left-wing Supreme Court Justices, Trump wants to appoint more like the late-great Antonin Scalia.

--Hillary feeds into the false narrative of BLM, and jinns up racism for political purposes. Trump gives the benefit of the doubt to law enforcement, while still opposing racial injustice.

-Hillary seems more concerned about the world's opinion of the US, Trump would put America's interests first.

-Hillary is a polarizer, a divider...who screams "racism" and "sexism" at the drop of a hat. Trump called Hillary "racist" only briefly, and only to make a rhetorical point. One gets the feeling that behavior and those false accusations are more deeply ingrained into Hillary's reflexive and reactionary psyche. She still seems to be living in the Sixties.

-Hillary is oh so PC, Trump is not.

Also, DI, Trump too wants to police the internet to prevent ISIS etc recruitment. On that at least, the two candidates seem to agree.

And his policy speeches have gotten far more substantive since Kelly Anne Conway took over his campaign. Away from the rhetoric that would have gotten him banned on these boards! ;)

Yeah, Trump's temprament leaves something to be desired. But the worst Republican candidate (Trump) is still far better in this case than the divisive and dishonest Hillary Clinton.

The Democrats would have been far better off with Joe Biden, and the Repbuicans, with Rubio, Fiorena, Cruz, Kasich, Christie, Bush, Jindal, Paul, etc, etc...

But, sadly, we didn't get any of them, or Joe Biden as a reasonable alternative.

Instead we got Clinton and Trump.

Still, the debate tomorrow night should be very interesting to say the least.
